Tours

Due to limited interest in other tours, we have decided to cancel all tours except the Northwest Winery Tour on Wednesday July 12. If you signed up for one of the other tours, you will receive your reimbursement at the registration desk on-site at the Westin.

The Northwest Winery Tour described below is the most popular tour among many Seattle visitors. It provides a great opportunity to get out of the city for an afternoon and visit two of the finest wineries in the Northwest. Please sign up as soon as you arrive in Seattle--we must provide a final number to Seattle Hospitality by Monday at lunch time. Registrations will be accepted at the registration desk.

Northwest Winery Tour

Situated on the same latitude as the French wine country, Washington State has a growing wine industry that is winning prestigious awards throughout the world. Your wine experience will begin at Columbia Winery. This winery has grown steadily over the past forty years as a leader in Washington’s burgeoning wine industry. The winery’s production in 2002 reached 140,000 cases and its distribution now includes exports to Canada, Europe and the Pacific Rim. Continue your wine excursion and tasting experience by crossing the road to the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. Located on 87 acres of arboretum-like grounds, Chateau Ste. Michelle is Washington's oldest winery, taking its place among the classic wineries of the world. Enjoy a tour that allows a romantic yet technologically accurate view of the art and science of wine-making, followed by wine tasting. After the tour and wine tasting, you will enjoy strolling the grounds and visiting the extensive wine and accessory shop.
